Friends,
After more than a month of trying to get the notification feature on my blog corrected, I think it is working again. As best I can tell, something went haywire on my hosting site which meant that when I made a new post you did not get notice of it. I continued to make weekly posts, but you did not get word that a new one was available. Thus, your comments mostly stopped which I quickly realized was my favorite part of this whole online experience.
While I couldn’t begin to explain the technical details of what went wrong or how it got corrected, I’m relieved that finally it appears to be resolved. My intention is to continue making a new post on Sunday afternoons. Please check out the ones you have missed.
I encourage you as well to visit the podcast version of the blog. It is called “Ordinary Grace: Finding God in the Everyday” and can be found on whatever platform you prefer to use. Like the blog, you can subscribe to it and get notified whenever there is a new episode or simply check it from time to time to hear me read the post.
However, you have shared in this devotional journey, I’m grateful for your virtual presence and actual patience. I look forward to continuing the conversation!

I love reading your posts, John, but hearing your voice on the podcast warms my heart. When I close my eyes and listen it’s like I’m sitting in the pew back at MPC. ❤️🙏
